Before viewing full deal financials or submitting an investor inquiry, you will be asked to self-certify as one of the categories below.
High Net Worth Individual (Article 48)
You may self-certify if, in the last financial year, you had either:
- An annual income of £170,000 or more, or
- Net assets of £430,000 or more, excluding your main home, pensions and life-cover policies.
Thresholds shown are illustrative; the operative wording under the Financial Promotion Order will be presented in the certification form and will be updated in line with FCA rules.
Self-certified Sophisticated Investor (Article 50A)
You may self-certify if in the last two years you have satisfied at least one of the following:
- Worked in private equity, or in the provision of finance for SMEs, in a professional capacity;
- Been a director of a company with an annual turnover of at least £1.6 million;
- Made two or more investments in an unlisted company; or
- Been a member of a network or syndicate of business angels for at least six months.
Restricted Investor (Article 51)
You may certify as a Restricted Investor if you confirm that in the next 12 months you will not invest more than 10% of your net investible assets in non-mainstream pooled investments.
Professional / Elective Professional
Firms authorised by the FCA, family offices and other per-se professional clients may access materials on that basis, subject to us receiving reasonable evidence.
How certification works on this site
Self-certification is captured through an on-screen declaration. Making a false declaration to obtain access to investments intended for qualifying investors may be a criminal offence. Certification is valid for 12 months and we may ask you to re-certify at any time.
